My dear friend, I strongly disagree with your article. Although this is not something to be proud off, Cyprus is the only European Union country that tolerates prostitution by issuing artistas visas. There are many cabarets and gentlemen night clubs, in fact we hold a record for this (again not to be proud off). Also in each major city there is an area with nothing but cabarets and gentlemen clubs. The meaning of cabaret here is far different from Paris. The going rate is around 200 EURO a night at a cabaret or night club and an extra fee applies if you get the girl before 3:00am. There are also many bars and hotels (again in the specified areas) that offer girls on hourly rates which is 100 EURO. The only thing tourists must be alert is the fact that cab drivers get commission so it is most likely to get riped off when paying for the girl. Best to ask to be dropped and then just pick a club they are all the same, east European women. Also never pay with visa in such places, don’t forget you are dealing with scam, they will not hesitate to get you drunk and rip you off.
